Warranty Programs:

FOR ENGINE SERVICES: The Precision Tune Auto Care Center identified on the service order (the "Center") warrants the parts and labor on engine performance services, onboard diagnostics systems, systems adjustments or repairs, and fuel injector repairs for 24 months or 24,000 miles (40,000 km) after the date of the service, whichever first occurs. During that time, we will repair or replace, at our option, any failed or defective part that we installed as part of the service.

LIMITED LIFETIME BRAKE WARRANTY: If indicated on the service order, the Center warrants the disc brake pads and/or brake shoes for as long as you own the vehicle. Labor is not included. You must return your vehicle to the Center every 12 months, or 12,000 miles, whichever first occurs, for a free brake inspection to maintain this warranty in force. The warranty does not cover the cost of installation of required additional brake components or services, such as new rotors or drums, machining rotors or drums, calipers, brake hoses, master cylinders and other hydraulic components required to restore the brake system to proper safe operating specifications. All brake components other than pads and/or shoes are warranted for 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever first occurs.

LIMITED BRAKE WARRANTY: If indicated on the service order, the Center warrants parts and labor for 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever first occurs. Pads and/or shoes will be considered "worn out" when the friction material of the pads and/or shoes has a minimum thickness of 1/32" or less. For bonded linings, this is the minimum wearable thickness of the lining at its thinnest point. During that time, we will repair or replace at our option any failed or defective parts that we originally installed as part of the service.

TIRE WARRANTY: Subject to manufacturer warranty.

SOME PRECISION TUNE AUTO CARE CENTERS OFFER WARRANTIES ON OTHER PARTS AND SERVICES. See the Center Manager for details. These warranties are good only at the Center where the service was originally performed. There is no warranty on parts or labor for the following services: carburetor replacement (whether new or rebuilt), fuel injection cleaning, air induction cleaning, all fluid exchanges or flushes, throttle body intake cleaning, A/C refrigerant or alignments.

INFORMATION RELATING TO ALL WARRANTIES:

How to Get Warranty Service: You must save the service order as proof of the date/mileage of the original service. If warranty service is required, take your car and the service order back to the Center. You can bring your vehicle to any Precision Tune Auto Care Center that offers the covered service; however not all Centers provide all services so it is best to call first.

What is Covered: Refer to the specific warranty terms above for engine services and brake services. Except as specified in this warranty, no other services are warranted and parts are sold subject to the manufacturer’s warranty only, if any. ALL WARRANTIES ARE FOR THE PARTICULAR VEHICLE SERVICED AND ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE.

What is Not Covered: (A) Damages resulting from accident, abuse, negligence or repairs, replacements and/or adjustment performed by others; (B) reimbursement for parts, labor or work performed by others; (C) components purchased from third parties and brought to a Center for installation; (D) towing or car rental, car fare, inconvenience, loss of time or use of vehicle; (E) cash refunds of any kind, except where warranted parts or labor continue to be defective after a reasonable number of attempts to repair by any Center. All refunds are at the discretion of the Center where the work was originally performed.

Exclusions from Warranty Coverage: All warranties apply only to passenger cars, light duty trucks, SUVS, and vans up to 3/4 ton. Certain models of vehicles, such as commercial, racing, off-road and those used in sporting events, are excluded. Your particular warranty will be VOID if you have any repairs, replacements or adjustments performed by any person other than an authorized Precision Tune Auto Care Center.

EXCEPT FOR WARRANTIES EXPRESSLY WRITTEN HEREIN, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO 24 MONTHS/24,000 MILES (40,000 KM) WHICHEVER OCCURS FIRST, AFTER THE ORIGINAL SERVICE. THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES FOR ALL WARRANTY CLAIMS ARE LIMITED TO THE REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR REFUND (NOT TO EXCEED THE ORIGINAL SERVICE ORDER AMOUNT) AS SPECIFICALLY PROVIDED IN THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY. THE CENTER AND PRECISION TUNE AUTO CARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY OTHER EXPENSE, LOSS OR DAMAGE, WHETHER DIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL. NO ONE IS AUTHORIZED TO EXTEND OR ENLARGE THESE WARRANTIES.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATION ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY WILL LAST OR ON THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THESE WARRANTIES GIVE YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
